Freedom: The Backbone of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

In the United States, the concept of freedom is foundational. It is not just a political ideal but the very heartbeat of our democracy. At the core of this freedom lies the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which protects the freedoms of speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government.
